I think this week I’ll do a whole week of mailbag pics to get caught up.
Which leads to an interesting mystery that’s plagued us here at the DPL offices. Lately we’ve been getting a lot of odd emails from people claiming to be pretty girls sending in their pics. They come in this weird stilted English and include oddly familiar pics, like stuff you would see on College Humor or something.
Example:
“Hi DLP webmaster I came across your site and I liked what I saw. It really got me wondering if I could be on there, usually im a private person but this is kinda of a turn on for me so I got up took a photo of me in my panties which happen to be pink and I made sure the picture shows off my best asset. so I hope you like the picture and please inform me of my picture is able to make the site.”
Any ideas WTF is going on here, peeps?

umm i dont know what it could be, i like going on this site because of the original pics and not recycled pictures from other sites but that pic is really hot. also please more pics like the one from yesterday.

The whole site is a user submitted area – just email in whatcha got, man.
But you really only post two a day, if that. I’ve seen three, but that is pretty rare.
meh, if the mails are coming with good pictures, i don’t see a problem.
What makes this site so great is that there is not a flood of pictures. Each one is tasteful, unique and hot! I don’t have to sort through thousands of the same pictures. Webmaster does a great job of supplying me with attractive artistic pictures (and videos) that I like. Use your discretion, I trust you to keep this site great. Sometimes less is more.

I thought of that and opened and scanned the images, I think they’re clean.
It’s not like a virus, it changes every third or fourth pixel a slightly different color so minute it isn’t even noticeable to the human eye. In order to read the message you have to run it though a decoder program with the key code to unlock it… Our best men in Washington have trouble keeping up with it, and i don’t want to sound like a dick but I am unsure of your capabilities. If I were you, I would contact some one or just not post them…

Check this out – the picture above with the big bubble butt was sent to me by just such a method. I recognized the photo as one I already have in my library and had already re-sized to post.
So the photo is the same but the actual image up there I found in the wild months ago.
One of the reasons that my site loads pretty quickly is because I take the time to optimize each image for size, resolution and weight. i’m dubious that a secret communication method could withstand the re-sizing and compression that I do.
Anyway, wouldn’t Osama just use Flickr?
You did get me thinking and I took a look at the stats – not I’m sure that your cave dwelling jihadis use proxies, but this month I actually got 4 hits from Afghanistan and a few dozen from Pakistan. In fact, we’re hot as hell in Islamabad. I see we have probably a dozen bookmarkers.
Shit — i hope they are fans and not nutjobs planning a jihad on my ass.
Way to cover the bases. I wouldn’t worry about those hits in the middle east, there are horny peaces of shit everywhere, and I am sure they dig the site.
Also in all this paranoia I keep on forgetting to mention how much I dig this site. Really well done, I love it.
Another thought just occurred to me, maybe it’s time for a red white and blue stars and stripes forever sort of post. Do you have anything like that in your library?…
