After the BS of last week, we’re going to turn the page on THAT unpleasantness and throw out some teases from a loyal reader in Portland.

Thanks for checking in Portland. When I got these, I was surprised to see that this chick really goes against the typical ‘Porkland Chick’ stereotype. Of course, I’ve never actually been to Portland – most of my information comes from the late, lamented Tom Leykis show. Am I the only one who finds it interesting that Leykis faded away without a gasp, while Adam Carolla is still going strong via the Adam Carolla Podcast. Have you heard this thing? It’s pretty damn good, it’s like what radio used to be, before it sucked. He does a commercial free 1 hour interview with someone, 5 days a week.

I spose the reason I like it is because it’s a lot like the DPL. He does his own thing – mainly for the love of it, not really to make money, and because of that…it’s good.
