However, she’s also an inveterate hacker. You know that friend you have who knows all about computers and their machine is constantly broken or in need of an OS re-install or something? I suspect that might be our dear Elli. For ages she’s been telling me about how my lovely blog is “broken”. Today she sent me a screen shot:
I pointed out that the problem lies with HER wacky computer set up, she countered by blaming my obscene lack of coding skills. Who’s right, guys? Comments are on, let the voting begin.

It really depends on what setup she’s running… I’m running a Mac, and it displays just fine in all the major browsers…
(btw, I’m a web developer, so I have a pretty good eye for “browser quirks” vs “obscene coding” :D

Screwy on my end as well. I think it has to do with the resolution I’m using (1024×768) as it loads fine on my woman’s computer (who is using a much higher resolution).
According to W3C…

site works in IE 7&8, Firefox 2 & 3, Chrome, and Opera… no problems what so ever. Hey it even sorta works on my Blackberry… sorta..

Hey ask her for the version of her browser maybe she is running an old version so far i have test the site under vista, xp, mac; using camino (mac), firefox, ie 6 and 7, opera, safari and everything looks fine.

I haven’t tested it in my XP boot, but in Ubuntu (Hardy Heron), in firefox, on 1680×1050, that’s how your dirty porno blog looks on my screen.

And actually, it might not be the resolution thing - I just tested in IE and it works fine.

You’ll need to see the exasct way that she “breaks” the page. The reason being is due to the fact that WP is a great CMS. It doesn’t break easily. So if she just browses to the site and its broken, it ain’t ur site. Othewise, might be worth a shot.
